Bullet Train: Cute chaos or too much for family movie night?
Okay, so I just watched Bullet Train, and WOW. The action was INSANE, right? Like, seriously over-the-top in that fun, kinda ridiculous way. I laughed a lot, mostly at the utter absurdity of everything, especially anything involving Lemon and Tangerine. Those two were comedy gold! But here's my question/concern: Is it appropriate for older teens? My 15-year-old is begging to watch it, but the violence is...pretty intense. Like, slapstick-y, but still. There's also some language, though from what I remember it's not constant. I’m trying to gauge if it's 'Tarantino-lite' where the style tones down the violence or if it's actually too much for a more 'mature teen.' I want to know what other parents think. Anyone else feel conflicted? Did you let your kids watch it? And if so, what did they think? I'm leaning towards no just because of the sheer volume of fight scenes, but I'm also aware he's seen worse playing video games, so maybe I'm being overly cautious? Help a mom out, lol!
