Uncharted: Was That Post-Credit Scene a Promise...or a Threat?

Okay, so I just got out of Uncharted (yes, I know, late to the party). Look, it wasn't good, good. Let's be real. But it wasn't offensively bad either. It coasted on charm and Tom Holland's inherent likability more than, you know, actual clever writing. But that second post-credit scene...that's what's got me thinking. I mean, the first one was whatever, setting up possibly a sequel to go after that Nazi gold (yawn). But the second one? That felt...deliberately vague. We see Sam, Nate's brother, seemingly alive (surprise!) but in some kinda sketchy prison. He's scribbling postcards to Nate, which implies he's been trying to contact him this whole time. The thing that concerns me is why he's in prison. Is it the treasure they were originally hunting? Or something else entirely? I have a theory that Sam isn't just a damsel in distress waiting to be rescued. Maybe he's become...compromised. Maybe he is the future antagonist. Think about it: we're told very little about what happened to him after their adventure gone wrong. And who's funding his rescue? It's someone shady, clearly. What if that's a rival treasure hunting group, and they're using Sam to get to Nate...or to something Nate has. The postcards could be coded messages, not pleas for help. I know it's a reach, but the film kept hinting at a darker side to Sam, a recklessness that bordered on obsession. Honestly, the movie felt like a paint-by-numbers action flick for most of it, but if they actually go down this 'Sam as antagonist' route in a sequel, it could actually add a layer of complexity that the first film desperately needed. Or, you know, it could just be another treasure hunt. But I'm holding out hope that they'll use this set up! Let me know what you think!
