Ambulance: Gyllenhaal's Intensity vs. Eiza's Calm - Who Won?

Okay, so I finally saw "Ambulance" and I have thoughts. First off, Michael Bay, you know, you do you. The explosions were... a lot, as expected. But honestly, I was more interested in the performances, especially Gyllenhaal and Eiza González. Gyllenhaal just vibrates with this chaotic energy. Danny Sharp is clearly a deeply damaged dude, and Jake just goes all in. Like, the scene where he's on the phone with the bank, trying to negotiate while bullets are flying? Intense! But sometimes I felt like it was too much? Like he was chewing the scenery a little. Then you have Cam (Eiza González) who is the total opposite. She's this super-competent EMT who's seen it all, but she still cares. Eiza played her with this amazing stillness that was, honestly, really compelling.
