Okay, I need to lie down after John Wick 4...

Guys, seriously. I just got back from seeing John Wick: Chapter 4 and I am EMOTIONALLY WRECKED. Like, I knew it was going to be action-packed, I knew there'd be some serious Keanu Reeves badassery, but NOBODY PREPARED ME FOR THAT ENDING. I'm not going to spoil anything, but let's just say I'm reaching for my tissues. I mean, the action sequences were insane. That top-down level, kinda video-gamey fight scene? Genius! Pure, unadulterated adrenaline. And the sheer style of it all? Chef's kiss. But beyond the incredible fight choreography (which, let's be honest, is why we're all there), it was the quiet moments that really got to me. The scenes with Mr. Nobody and his dog were strangely touching, and the constant sacrifices people were making for John... It just tugged at my heartstrings. Oh and Donnie Yen, he's just incredible isn't he? He managed to bring a level of humanity that was unexpected in this type of movie, I loved his character!! Honestly, I went in expecting explosions and cool gun-fu, and I got that in spades. But what I didn't expect was to feel so...invested? I was genuinely rooting for John, even though I knew the odds were stacked against him. Maybe it's just me being overly sensitive (hi, it's me, MeganReviews), but I thought it was a really well-done conclusion (potentially? I'm trying not to spoil!), and I'm still processing everything. Go see it, but bring tissues. You've been warned! Still feeling sad about it now, tbh. Oh quick question, did anyone else think they were kinda ripping on The Warriors a little bit, esp. in the 3rd Act?? I just thought it was a cool parallel if so...
