"My Fault" - Okay, I Have THOUGHTS (and maybe a new crush?)

Okay, so I finally caved and watched "My Fault" on Prime (because, let's be real, teenage angst and hot Spanish guys are kinda my guilty pleasure sometimes, haha!). It's about Noah, who has to move in with her mom's new super rich husband and his, um, equally attractive son, Nick. Obvi DRAMA ensues. Honestly, the plot is a little predictable – rich bad boy, rebellious new girl, forbidden romance… We've seen it before. But I'm not gonna lie, the actors are gorgeous and there were definitely some steamy scenes that made me blush a little (even after all these years of being a mom!). Gabriel Guevara as Nick? Helloooooo! I mean, the brooding, mysterious thing gets me every time. My oldest is only 12, so I've got a ways to go before THIS kind of drama, but I can see why this movie is so popular with the teens. There's a car chase scene, which was kinda thrilling, even though it was a LITTLE bit over the top. And the whole 'midnight motorcycle ride' montage? Ugh, swoon! Okay, maybe that's just me reliving my youth, lol. It’s super cheesy, but I got sucked in! I do wish they'd given Noah a little more depth, though. She's supposed to be this strong, independent girl, but sometimes she just felt kinda… reactive? Like everything happened TO her instead of her making choices. That said, I am invested enough to wanna see what happens in the sequel (apparently it's already filming?!). So, yeah, not going to pretend like it's high art or anything, but "My Fault" is a fun, escapist watch. Just don't expect it to win any awards or anything ;) Anyone else watched it? What were your favorite scenes (besides the obvious ones, haha!)?
