Shazam! Fury of the Gods: Is Hespera the REAL Key?

Okay, fam, AmandaWatches here, and I just got back from seeing Shazam! Fury of the Gods with the kiddos. It was...an experience, LOL. Overall, everyone enjoyed it, some parts were a little intense for my youngest but we got through it. But I've been turning something over in my head since we left the theater. So here's my theory: Hespera (played brilliantly by Helen Mirren, btw) wasn't really the main baddie calling all the shots. I think she was the most reasonable of the Daughters of Atlas and might have even had a change of heart at the end there. Hear me out! I mean, let's look at Kalypso. She was obsessed with revenge and pretty much disregarded everything else in her path. Hespera, on the other hand, seemed more concerned with restoring their power and Mycena. Remember that scene where she was (trying) to reason with Billy to give up his powers? It felt like she was genuinely trying to avoid more destruction. And then, the whole thing with the dome around Philadelphia? Kalypso was clearly willing to sacrifice everyone inside, but Hespera seemed genuinely conflicted, and ultimately broke it. This might be a stretch, BUT, I think Hespera was starting to see the human side of things. Maybe even starting to understand why the Wizards chose to give the powers to Billy and his family. That bit at the end with Wonder Woman felt a little...too easy, tbh, but maybe it was paving the way for future storylines where Hespera isn't a villain anymore? I'm hoping to see her come back and be an ally. What do you guys think? Am I reaching here or could Hespera's potential for good be explored further if there's a Shazam! 3? I really hope we get one because my son needs to know how many more times he can yell "Shazam!" before we get kicked out of the house.
