Yo, Creed III and the Multiverse?! Hear me out...
Okay, so I just got back from Creed III, and while I dug it (Jonathan Majors, DAMN!), something kept nagging at me. Now, I'm a world-building guy, right? Sci-fi is my jam. And the way they framed the climactic fight – especially with the almost dreamlike quality and the disappearing crowd – felt… off. Like, purposefully off. Hear me out: what if that wasn't just artistic license? What if that was hinting at a deeper connection, maybe even some low-key multiverse stuff? Think about it: Damian comes back exactly when Creed is at his peak. Almost like a cosmic balancing act or destiny playing out. And then the whole fight sequence... stripping away the stadium, focusing only on them, the visual language felt straight out of a comic book. It made them the only two people in the universe, I know this might sound crazy, but this feels like a setup. Maybe in a future movie, we will get a crazy twist to bring back Apollo Creed. I know, I know, it sounds wild. Probably just me overthinking. But the way they kept hammering home the themes of guilt and redemption, and the almost surreal quality of the final fight... it just felt like they were reaching for something bigger than just a boxing movie. Plus, with multiverse stuff being everywhere now in Hollywood, it wouldn't even be that shocking, right? Maybe the Creed verse is just the beginning of all this stuff because Stallone is out. Maybe I'm inhaling too much exhaust from my spaceship but I think there are no limits to what the writers can do with a potential CreedVerse. I'm just praying that they don't jump the shark or something like that. But, what do you all think? Am I totally off base, or is there maybe, just maybe, a sliver of a possibility that Creed is secretly setting up a crossover somewhere down the road? Let me know what you guys think!
