Saltburn: Obsessed, But...Is it just me, or...?

Okay, okay, I just finished Saltburn and I'm officially a mess. Visually, it's STUNNING. Like, gothic-rich-people-are-weirdly-beautiful-and-tragic stunning. Barry Keoghan is a revelation, obviously, and Jacob Elordi could read the phone book and I'd probably swoon. But I'm having... complicated feelings. I think I loved it? But also, I spent half the time clutching my pearls and wondering what the heck I was watching. That bathtub scene, especially, I mean...wow. It's definitely pushing boundaries, and I appreciate a movie that isn't afraid to be, well, disgusting. But was it...necessary? Or just shock value? And Oliver...was he a full-blown sociopath from the start or did Saltburn corrupt him? The graveyard scene makes me think option A, but still... And let's talk about Rosamund Pike! Comedy gold. She delivers every line with such perfect, detached upper-class snark. It's the kind of performance that makes you want to rewatch just for her zingers. But honestly, the whole Catton family... were they actually that clueless or just pretending? There's a fine line between eccentricity and complete obliviousness, and I'm not sure they ever found it. So, basically, I'm in a state of post-Saltburn confusion. Did anyone else find themselves simultaneously disgusted and completely enthralled? What's everyone's hot take? Am I missing something huge here? Should I go for a re-watch? Help!
