Murder Mystery 2: Was it just me, or...
Okay, so I just watched Murder Mystery 2 and honestly? It was pretty much what I expected. Silly, a little dumb, but totally entertaining. Sandler and Aniston have this amazing chemistry, like they genuinely have fun making these movies. Which, honestly, makes them way better than they probably should be. But here's my question: did anyone else think the whole helicopter scene over Paris was kinda... meh? Like, it looked cool and all, but it felt so out of place compared to the rest of the movie's goofiness. It was almost too action-y, you know? I was laughing my head off when they were bumbling around the island, but then suddenly we're in a serious action movie for a few minutes? Bit jarring, I thought. And okay, minor point, but was Colonel Ulenga even a good villain? I kinda forgot he was even in the movie half the time. Everyone else felt like they were having a BLAST hamming it up, and he just seemed... there. Maybe it's just me. Did anyone else feel like the movie lost a bit of its charm when it tried to be TOO 'Hollywood' with those bigger, more serious moments?
