OMG Alien: Romulus - Did That Ending Mess Anyone Else UP?
Okay, so I just got back from seeing Alien: Romulus, and I'm still kinda shaking. I knew going in it would be scary, I mean, it's ALIEN. But the way they built the suspense with that group of young scavengers? Heart. Attack. City. I was practically hiding behind my popcorn for half the movie, especially during that scene in the hydroponics lab. Anyone else feel like they couldn't breathe during that part? What really got to me, though, was the ending. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say the sacrifices made…ugh. So emotionally brutal! I’m legit tearing up again just thinking about it. Did anyone else feel like the connection between those characters was extra strong? Like, they felt like real friends/family, which made it even WORSE when things started going south. And that new alien design? Nightmare fuel for YEARS. I'm still processing everything, but I really want to know: Did anyone else find the ending super bleak? Was there any hope left, or am I just being too optimistic (as always, lol)? Also, did anyone catch the significance of that one symbol marked all over the derelict station? Did I miss something? I need to discuss this with people before I can sleep tonight!
