Gladiator II: Lucius as a Force User? Hear me out!

Okay, okay, I know. Gladiator isn't exactly known for its laser swords and space wizards (though, tbh, I'd watch that). But I’ve been turning over Gladiator II in my head ever since they announced it, and I have this crazy theory about Lucius. Hear me out – what if he develops some sort of latent… ability? Think about it: He was deeply affected by Maximus, right? He saw this dude defy emperors and just... win. What if that exposure to sheer willpower, to someone so connected to… something bigger… unlocked something in Lucius? We know the Roman world wasn't all logical and orderly; they had their gods and omens and stuff! Maybe Maximus’s spirit imprinted on him somehow? I picture a scene where Lucius is about to be killed in the arena, and BAM - a surge of energy protects him, maybe he even sees a vision of Maximus guiding him? It could be a subtle thing, not full-on telekinesis, but more like heightened senses or an uncanny ability to predict his opponent’s moves (making him a literal, unstoppable Gladiator!). I know it sounds weird, especially for this franchise. But if they want to make this sequel something truly special and not just another blood-and-sand fest, they need some kind of thematic hook. Making Lucius a kind of 'chosen one', inheriting the mantle of Maximus in a literal, almost mystical way, could be really powerful. Plus, the Emperors are described as tyrannical, so maybe they would have something to do with the supernatural? I'm not saying this HAS to happen, and I'd hate for it to feel forced or shoehorned in. But imagine the possibilities! What do you guys think? Am I completely off my rocker, or could there be something to this? The thought of adding a subtle supernatural element just excites me, and I wanna know what you all think :)
