Okay, is "The Fall Guy" REALLY as good as everyone says?

Alright, so I just saw "The Fall Guy", and I gotta admit, I'm a little underwhelmed. Everyone's acting like it's the Second Coming of action movies, but I'm just not seeing it. Yeah, the stunt work is impressive, I'll give it that. But impressive stunts don't automatically make a good movie, right? Like, the whole plot felt kind of...lazy? "Stuntman has to find missing actor and solve a conspiracy" is like, the most basic action movie premise ever. And Ryan Gosling...look, I usually like the guy, but he felt like he was just coasting. And the chemistry with Emily Blunt? I wasn't feeling it. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it felt forced, like they were trying too hard to be a rom-com action duo a la "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" but failing miserably. The scene where he's getting dragged behind the car felt way too long, even for an action movie. Like, we get it, he's a stuntman, he's tough, but did we need five whole minutes of him screaming? I'm probably just being a contrarian as usual, but I feel like people are overlooking some serious flaws because of the nostalgia factor. So, am I the only one who thinks "The Fall Guy" is just...okay? Or am I missing something here?
