Moana 2: Calling it NOW - Te Fiti's gonna throw us for a LOOP!

Okay, okay, okay, I'm trying to contain myself after seeing the first Moana 2 trailer, but OMG. The wayfinding ancestors are calling her?! Chills! Literal chills, you guys! Seriously, I had goosebumps the size of Maui's bicep (HAHA, sorry, couldn't resist). But it made me think…what if it's not just a call for help? What if there's something bigger going on with Te Fiti? My theory is that Te Fiti's power isn't as stable as we think. Remember how she was all chaotic as Te Ka before Moana restored her heart? What if something's disrupting the balance AGAIN? Maybe that's why the ancestors are calling Moana to these 'dangerous, long-lost waters'. Perhaps Te Fiti's essence, her mana, is fading, and it's causing problems across Oceania that even she doesn't fully understand. Maybe it's creating those crazy sea monsters they showed in the trailer. YIKES. And here's where it gets REALLY juicy: What if Moana has to make a difficult choice to save Te Fiti? Like, does she have to merge her with a new being or something drastic like that to restore the balance? Think about it – 'adventure unlike any other'? 'Far seas of Oceania'? This isn't just a jolly boat ride, people! This could be a REAL test of Moana's leadership. I'm kinda scared that if my prediction is correct, Maui may have to sacrifice himself, or something. I would BAWL. Seriously, I'd need a whole box of tissues. I'm just saying, Disney doesn't do sequels without a reason. They've set the bar HIGH with this one, and I have a feeling that Te Fiti's role in all of this is going to be way more significant than we think. Let me know what you guys think! Am I reaching?
