Red One: Score Potential - Anyone else cautiously optimistic?

Okay, so Red One...Santa Claus kidnapped? That's... certainly a premise. I'm trying not to get too excited because, action-comedy with The Rock can go either way, BUT the potential for a stellar, Christmassy score is HUGE. Like, imagine the possibilities! We could get this epic blend of classic Christmas themes with a modern, John Powell-esque action vibe. Think 'Home Alone' meets 'The Bourne Identity' but with sleigh bells. I'm already picturing it! I'm really hoping they don't just go the generic route with some forgettable, synthesized holiday stuff. It NEEDS that orchestral grandeur. Anyone have any intel on who's scoring? That'll really make or break my hype levels. I keep thinking that if they get this right, the score could be the unsung hero that elevates the whole thing. Maybe they could bring someone who's done great action, but also knows how to be whimsical, like...Alan Silvestri's already done Santa, but still! I'm also curious about the overall tone. Is it going to be pure slapstick, or will there be moments of genuine Christmas heart? Because that heart is what really allows a score to shine. Think about Elf - the score perfectly captures that childlike wonder. If Red One actually manages to tap into that, even just a little, we could be in for something really special on the music front. Or I'm just getting my hopes up, which, let's be honest, is totally my thing. lol Lastly, I'm half-expecting a scene where The Rock fights elves while a hardcore, orchestral version of 'Carol of the Bells' plays. Please, Santa, deliver that at least!
