Okay, "IF" had me sobbing in the theater! (Spoilers maybe?)

Okay, wow. Just got back from seeing "IF" and I am a MESS. Like, full-on ugly crying in the theater mess. I went in expecting a cute kid's movie and while it was cute, it also punched me right in the feels. I'm Megan btw, and I tend to overreact a little to movies, so take this with a grain of salt, but seriously... anyone else?! Specifically, that scene where Blue (the big fuzzy guy) is talking about how he misses Bea's mom SO much? Ugh, waterworks city. And then when she finally sees him and remembers? I lost it. I think I even sniffled louder than the kids around me, LOL. I'm a sucker for anything that hints at childhood innocence and lost connections, and this movie delivered in spades. But honestly, did anyone else think the ending felt a little rushed? Like, they got all the IFs "re-homed" super quickly. My question is: did anyone else think some of the IFs deserved MORE screen time? Like, the Banana guy? He had ONE line and it was hilarious, I wanted more! And what about the little flame? What was HIS kid like?! I'm just curious if I was the only one feeling emotionally invested enough to want more backstory on all the imaginary friends. Overall, I really enjoyed it, even if it did make me feel like I needed a therapy session afterwards, haha. Def recommend bringing tissues, and maybe a huggable plushie for emotional support. Let me know what you guys thought! Did any of the IFs hit you especially hard?
