Garfield Goes WILD?! My Inner Child Is Screaming...But Also Cautiously Optimistic

Alright, alright, so the new Garfield movie trailer dropped and I gotta admit, I'm... intrigued. I'm a simple man - give me explosions, death-defying leaps, and maybe a car chase or two (even animated) and I'm generally happy. But...Garfield? Action adventure? It feels like a weird mix to me. Don't get me wrong; childhood memories are strong, but I'm still wrapping my head around it. What did catch my attention (and this is where my action-junkie brain kicks in) is the potential for some genuinely creative visual gags and set pieces. If they can lean into the cartoon physics and over-the-top scenarios, it could be hilarious. I'm thinking Looney Tunes meets... uh... a heist movie with a fat cat? I'm trying to picture it, and I'm seeing possibilities. Anyone else get the vibe that Vic, Garfield's dad, is gonna be running some crazy scams? That could be a fun dynamic. The cynic in me is worried they'll wimp out and go full-on cutesy CGI garbage. But if they manage to inject some real energy and some legitimately clever action sequences, maybe just maybe this thing could actually be... good? What do you guys think?
