No Way Up - Wait, Was THAT Supposed to Happen?! 🤯
Okay, so I just got out of seeing "No Way Up" and honestly, I went in expecting some cheesy disaster flick, and I kinda got it, but with… sharks. Lol. The whole plane-crash-into-the-Pacific thing was pretty intense, ngl. But here's my theory, and I need to know if anyone else caught this. So, remember when Kyle (the rich kid) was all panicking about his phone and trying to make a call? What if… hear me out… what if he wasn't just being a spoiled brat? What if he KNEW something was going to happen and was trying to warn someone? Like, maybe something shady was going on with the plane itself and he was trying to call his dad who's got like, all the connections? Just a thought. What really got me thinking was how conveniently everyone important was grouped together. Like, yeah, planes are random, but a security guard, a convicted murderer, a social media star, and a rich kid all survive in the same tiny pocket of the plane? It felt kinda… deliberate? Maybe some kind of weird social experiment gone wrong that Kyle's family funded? I know, it's a reach, but the movie spent so much time showing us their backstories, it felt like we were supposed to connect the dots somehow. Also, related to my theory, that shark attack felt SO out of left field! Like, I was expecting the air to run out or the plane to collapse, but a shark felt a little too… convenient? What if someone orchestrated the crash and the shark attack to create some kind of chaos? It sound crazy, I know, but I've seen crazier! Let me know if you guys are thinking anything similar, maybe I'm just overthinking it all 😅. I still enjoyed it, though! It was definitely entertaining, even if it was a bit ridiculous at times.
