Okay, "We Will All Meet in Paradise" - Étienne's Jealousy is Kinda...Relatable?

So, I just finished watching "We Will All Meet in Paradise" and I gotta say, Étienne is going through it! Lol. Like, finding that old photo of Marthe with some mystery dude? I can see why he spiraled a bit. I mean, I'm not saying his reactions are healthy or anything, but the whole 'imagining all the possible lovers' thing? We've all been there, right? Maybe not exactly that extreme, but the underlying feeling of insecurity? Totally get it. The movie did a great job showing how quickly our minds can jump to conclusions, especially when jealousy is involved. I feel bad for Marthe, though, having to deal with all that suspicion out of nowhere. My crazy theory? Maybe the guy in the photo wasn't even a lover! What if it was a family member, or an old friend? The movie never actually shows us anything definitive, right? It's all Étienne's perspective. He's an unreliable narrator, basically! I kept expecting some big reveal that would either confirm or deny his suspicions, but it never really came. It's like the movie is saying that the problem isn't necessarily what happened in the past, but how we choose to interpret it in the present. Also, is it just me, or is the ending super ambiguous? I'm still trying to figure out what it all means. Does everything go back to normal? Does the relationship permanently change? Anyway, I'm curious to hear what everyone else thinks! Did anyone else find Étienne's jealousy relatable, or was it just me? Spill the tea! Side note: Anyone know who directed this? I couldn't find that info anywhere, which is kinda weird. Maybe it's part of the ~mystery~ of the movie?
