Yentl...Am I the only one totally obsessed with this movie?!

Okay, okay, so I just rewatched "Yentl" (1983) for like, the millionth time. Seriously, Barbra Streisand is a freakin' icon, right? Like, directing AND starring AND singing her heart out?! Goals. But for real, does anyone else find this movie as captivating as I do? I know, I know, the whole 'girl dresses as a boy' trope is kinda old-school, but there's something about the way Yentl just yearns for knowledge that really gets to me. And the music! OMG, the music is just pure gold. That scene where she's arguing with Avigdor in the study, then breaks into "Where Is It Written?" gives me chills EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And don't even get me started on her inner monologues. Talk about emotional rollercoaster! So my question is, what's your favorite scene or song from "Yentl"? Plus, let's be real, did anyone else think Avigdor was kinda a jerk for being so indecisive? I mean, he knows who she is and still can't make up his mind on whether or not he likes her? Ugh, men, amirite? 😂 Tell me your thoughts please! I gotta know if I'm alone in my Yentl feelings here!
