Okay, Am I the Only One Who Gets Way Too Invested in Trinity's Lazy Charm?

Guys, I just finished watching "They Call Me Trinity" and I'm a MESS. Like, I know it's basically a silly spaghetti western, but something about Trinity (Terence Hill) just… gets me. He's soooooo lazy and nonchalant, and yet he's always doing the right thing, even if it's just to avoid having to work! I'm a sucker for that kind of reluctant hero thing. And don't even get me STARTED on the bean-eating scene. I know it's supposed to be funny, and it IS, but there's something kind of sweet about how Trinity and Bambino (Bud Spencer) defend the Mormons even when they're super grossed out by the food. It's like, okay, they're motivated by self-interest (Trinity wants the dessert first!), but underneath it all, they have hearts of gold, right? I just get so emotionally attached to these characters, even when they're being ridiculous! Also, side note, I know it's not supposed to be a serious movie, but I kinda felt bad for the Mormons being pushed around... Anyone else find themselves getting weirdly protective of them? Maybe it's just me. I wear my heart on my sleeve when I watch movies, you guys know this! Haha. So, my actual question is, am I the only one who finds Trinity secretly swoon-worthy, despite the fact he's basically a bum? Or am I just projecting romantic ideals onto a comedic western? Help me out here!
