Okay, Hold Up: "Nothing Left to Do But Cry" - Alternate Timeline Theory?

Alright, so I just re-watched "Nothing Left to Do But Cry" (again, because, come on, it's hilarious) and I've got this theory rattling around in my head about the ending. We see them back in their own time, right? Antonio's selling pizza, Mario's got his gas station. But... what if they didn't fully return to their ORIGINAL timeline? Think about it. They messed around with history so much. They saved Christopher Columbus, they (tried) to prevent the discovery of America, they even influenced local politics! There's no way, NO WAY, their actions didn't create some kind of ripple effect. My thought is that when they jumped back, they landed in a timeline that's slightly different from the one they left. Maybe the pizza is a little better now? I don't know lol. I always found it a little TOO convenient that they were just able to slip back in so seamlessly. Like, the movie just ends and everything is exactly like it was! My take is the success of the transition is what makes it an enjoyable movie... but it is also the point where I am like, hmm, the transition may not have been so seamless. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, wanting a little more chaos out of their time-traveling adventure, but I genuinely think there's something to this. Anyone else have thoughts? Am I reaching? Let me know!
