Okay, "The Adventures of André and Wally B." - I'm Conflicted!!

So, I watched this old Pixar short, "The Adventures of André and Wally B.", and… guys, I don't know how to feel! It's so simple, right? André is just trying to sleep and this annoying bee, Wally B., won't leave him alone. The animation is obviously dated, but there's something kinda charming about it, like a vintage toy. I actually gasped when André gets stung!! I know it's silly, but I felt so bad for him! Like, just let the poor guy NAP! What really got me, though, was the end. When André finally gets rid of Wally B., he's all happy and then...the short just ends. Like, is that it? Is the moral just "Annoying things exist?" I think it's supposed to be funny, and I chuckled a few times, especially at Wally B.'s frantic movements (you can totally see the animators experimenting!), but it also left me feeling a little...empty? Like, there was no real resolution. Maybe I'm overthinking a super short, but it kinda made me sad for André, you know? Forever haunted by this jerky bee, haha! I get that it's a technical demo more than anything else, and that it was a big step towards Toy story in that sense. But as a story, it's kinda... incomplete? It's not something I'd necessarily recommend to everyone, but I also kind of can't stop thinking about it? I'm so confuzzled. Anyone else have strong feelings about this little short? Am I the only one who felt weirdly emotional about a dude and a bee? Let me know!
