OMG did anyone else find André kinda annoying in that short?

Okay, so last night we watched “The Adventures of André and Wally B.” I'd never actually seen it the whole way through before! I know it's like, super old-school Pixar, basically pre-Pixar, and a tech demo but… was I the only one getting a little irritated with André? Like, dude, just stop running! Wally B is a bee, he can fly, you're a… dude in 80s workout clothes. You're never gonna outrun him, lol. I get it, it's supposed to be funny. And the animation is impressive for its time, especially Wally B. He's kinda cute, in a terrifying-stinging-insect kind of way. But André's constant screaming and flailing? It got old REAL fast. Maybe it's just me and my friends but we were all actively rooting for Wally by the end. Does that make us bad people? Also, that apple bit? Genius. Total Charlie Chaplin vibes. But still...André needs to chill. Did anyone else feel this way, or am I just a grumpy gus this morning? I feel like I'm definitely missing something, I want to appreciate it more. Maybe I just need to rewatch it a few more times lol, and pay attention to the technical artistry behind it instead of focusing on the character’s… antics. What do you all think?
