Ice Pirates - So Bad It's Kinda Good?

Okay, so I just watched "The Ice Pirates" (1984) and...wow. I don't even know where to start. Like, the premise is kinda cool - water's super rare and people are pirates stealing ice? Sounds like a fun sci-fi adventure, right? But then the execution is...something else, lol. The robot prostitutes? The 'space herpes'? What was going on?! I have to admit, though, I was entertained. Robert Urich is kinda charming as Jason, and Mary Crosby as Princess Karina is surprisingly good. And the fight scenes were genuinely funny at times. That whole quick-draw thing after being 'hormoned'? Hilarious! I think I was mostly laughing at it rather than with it, but hey, a laugh is a laugh. But seriously, did anyone else find the pacing super weird? It felt like they were trying to cram like three different movies into one. Also, that ending...what was that all about with the seventh sign? I am so confused and need someone to explain to me what that was supposed to mean? Overall, definitely not a cinematic treasure, but if you're looking for something to watch while drinking with friends and making fun of, it's perfect. Am I the only one who felt this way?
