Okay, I've Seen 'The Goonies' Like 50 Times and I STILL Notice Stuff

Alright Goonies never say die crew! I just finished another viewing (number, like, a million?) and I'm STILL picking up on little details. I swear, this movie is bottomless. This time, I was really focusing on Data's gadgets. Like, the Pinchers of Peril? Classic! But did you ever notice that some of them seem... unfinished? Like, hastily glued together? Adds a real sense of 'kid inventor in a basement' charm, y'know? And Chunk... oh, Chunk. I've always felt bad for him, but this time I was paying more attention to his 'confession' scene. Dude's telling the Kwan story, totally embellished, but you can see the TRUTH is in there, hiding. That's amazing kid acting right there. Also, I still think Sloth is the unsung hero. He's got loyalty down. Sidenote: Anyone else think the Truffle Shuffle is kinda gross now? Still funny, but... ew. One thing that always bugs me, though: Why did they just LEAVE all that doubloon treasure behind?! Like, they literally fill their pockets and jet? I get they're kids and in a rush, but COME ON. That's enough to save their homes AND buy Mikey a lifetime supply of leg braces and Data a proper lab! Missed opportunity, filmmakers, missed opportunity. Anyway, yeah, Goonies still holds up. If you haven't seen it in a while, give it another shot. You'll probably see something new. Maybe even something I missed! Let me know your fave parts or details I overlooked! :)
