Goonies Never Say Die (and neither should my love for this movie!)

Okay, so I just rewatched 'The Goonies' and I'm feeling ALL the nostalgia. Seriously, this movie is just pure, unadulterated fun. Who needs a deep, thought-provoking plot when you've got booby traps, pirate treasure, and the Fratellis?! Chunk's truffle shuffle alone earns this movie like, a billion points. I know, I know, it's a bit cheesy and the special effects are kinda dated now, but that's part of its charm, right? I swear, every time I watch it, I'm rooting for Mikey and the gang like it's the first time. I especially love the scene where they finally find the ship! One-Eyed Willie's pirate ship was so awesome! Also, Sloth's transformation is still so heartwarming! The Fratellis were also so funny, especially on their chase scenes! And can we talk about the friendships? They're all so different, but they stick together and help each other out. It's corny but sweet. It's just a feel-good movie, plain and simple. I was laughing, I was cringing, and was on the edge of my seat. Is it the greatest movie ever made? Probably not. Do I still love it? Absolutely! Anyone else feel like 'The Goonies' holds up ridiculously well? Hit me with your favorite moments! Maybe I missed something and need another rewatch... you know, for research purposes. ;)
