So, Who ELSE Wanted to Date Lisa From Weird Science?

Okay, people, gotta talk about Weird Science. "So, what would you little maniacs like to do first?" Lisa's entrance is legendary, right? Like, I know it's super 80s wish-fulfillment, but Kelly LeBrock just kills it. I was obsessed with this movie as a kid (and, honestly, still kind of am). It's not exactly high art, but it's pure, distilled teenage boy fantasy. Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith (Gary and Wyatt) are great as the nerds who are "pissed off at the world". My question is this: beyond the obvious ahem advantages, what exactly was it about Lisa that made her so appealing? Was it the power? The clothes? The fact that she could conjure up a motorcycle out of thin air? I think it's a mix of everything, especially how she instantly boosted Gary and Wyatt's confidence. Like, suddenly they're dealing with Chet, the mutant biker (Bill Paxton at his finest!), and getting into crazy situations. And speaking of Chet, his transformation into that weird...thing...still freaks me out a little. I could do without that scene tbh. Another random thought: did anyone else think it was kinda messed up how they just, like, deleted her at the end? I mean, she's a sentient being, right? "This is their world, and we're allowed to live in it." is one of the many quotable lines. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it always felt a little... unsatisfying. Anyway, hit me with your favorite Weird Science moments and let me know who else secretly (or not so secretly) crushed on 80s-era Kelly LeBrock. "Don't you know the first rule of teenage parties? There are no parents!"
