Okay, Let's Talk 'Friday the 13th: A New Beginning' - Is it REALLY Jason?

Alright, alright, settle down horror hounds, it's ya boy mikecinema back with another deep dive. So, 'Friday the 13th: A New Beginning'... honestly, it's the black sheep of the family, right? The one nobody quite admits to loving. But hear me out, I got a theory that might make you appreciate this flick a little more. We all know Jason's supposedly dead at this point, but bodies keep pilin' up. The question isn't whether there's a killer, but who that killer truly is. I think it's Roy Burns going completely off the rails. Think about it. The dude loses his son to a Jason copycat and snaps. The rage, the precision of the kills, the way he targets specific people... It's not the lumbering brute force of classic Jason, it's calculated and fueled by revenge. The way he stalks the characters shows a level of knowledge and planning Jason wouldn't possess. The kills are brutal, yes, but the way the killer handles them is different. This isn't just about random carnage. This is about making people suffer, fueled by a deeply personal rage. Now, the movie wants you to think it's Jason, especially with those dream sequences Tommy's having, but I think that's misdirection. They're playing with Tommy's post-traumatic stress, making us question his sanity (and ours!). Plus, the paramedics are the ones who see Jason's body at the end. Paramedics, who would have known Roy's son and their connection to the camp. It's all too convenient, isn't it? It's solid movie-making, just not necessarily the most inspired story. Also, I think the stunt work is some truly good stuff for the budget. I know, I know, heresy! Blasphemy! But think about it. It adds a layer of tragedy that's kinda interesting. It's not just another monster movie; it's about the cycle of violence and how grief can twist a person into something truly terrifying. Let me know what you guys think! Am I crazy, or is there something to this Roy Burns-as-the-real-killer theory?
