Cats Eye - That Smoking Story Tho!

Okay, so last night a bunch of us watched 'Cat's Eye' (1985). I knew NOTHING about it going in. Like, zero. My friend Sarah just said 'Stephen King anthology, trust me' and honestly, that's usually enough for me LOL. I didn't even know the director, oops! The first story, with Dick trying to quit smoking...holy CRAP. That was intense! James Woods was so good at being a desperate, twitchy mess. The 'Quitters, Inc.' place was TERRIFYING. I mean, threatening your wife and kids?! That's next level messed up. I'm not even a heavy smoker, but it made ME want to quit. I seriously thought they were going to like, lobotomize him at one point. Gross. Then you have the second story where he's trying to win a bet by walking around the side of a building. I actually did have to look away when the wind picked up, ew. Both stories were pretty good, but the cat was the best part and I wish it had a bigger role! The last segment was so cheesy and funny that it made the previous darkness more easy to handle. I was a little confused at the end (where did the cat come from and how did she know she had to save the girl?), maybe I missed something? But overall, a fun watch for sure!
