Okay, "No Retreat, No Surrender" score... seriously underrated or just nostalgia?

Alright soundtrack aficionados, HughesReviews here! I need to pick your brains about a seriously cheesy, yet somehow endearing, 80s flick: "No Retreat, No Surrender." Yes, the Jean-Claude Van Damme one. I know, I know, the movie itself is... well, let's just say it's peak 80s training montage madness. But the score... the score has been stuck in my head for years. Bill Conti (Rocky, Karate Kid!) did the music, and while it doesn't hit the highs of those classics, there's something about the main theme that just gets to me. It's got that triumphant, slightly synth-heavy vibe that's pure 80s inspiration. I especially love how it kicks in during the training sequences with Bruce Lee's ghost. Seriously, that shimmering synth sound during the 'spirit training' is chef's kiss. Does anyone else find it surprisingly effective? My question is this: Am I suffering from a severe case of nostalgia, or is this score genuinely underrated? I mean, it's no Lalo Schifrin, but it's got a certain charm. I've tried finding a decent isolated score online, but it's surprisingly difficult. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I think the score elevates the whole movie beyond its inherent goofiness. Hit me with your thoughts! Am I alone in finding this soundtrack secretly incredible (or at least, secretly enjoyable)? P.S. Anyone know if a decent quality version of the score actually exists anywhere? Because I'm seriously considering ripping it myself if not. The low-quality youtube rips just don't cut it.
