Okay, so... Anyone Actually Enjoy "Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold"?

Alright, confession time. I watched "Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold" (1986) the other night. I know, I know, it's basically a universally panned sequel to "King Solomon's Mines", which wasn't exactly cinematic gold to begin with. But I'm a sucker for adventure flicks, especially ones set in Africa, and hey, Sharon Stone's in it! But seriously folks, did anyone genuinely enjoy this movie? I mean, the pacing is all over the place, the plot is thinner than the paper my grocery list is written on, and the "Lost City of Gold" itself felt… underwhelming, to say the least. I'm used to bad editing in B-movies, but the fight scenes were choppy as all hell. Remember that bit with the gorillas? Pure chaos! It felt like the editor went out for lunch and never came back. And don't even get me started on the random comedy... like, what was that? Look, I get it, it's supposed to be a campy, over-the-top adventure, but even by those standards, it felt… off. Am I missing something here? I keep seeing it listed as a "so bad it's good" movie, but honestly, it just felt… bad. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I'm genuinely curious if anyone out there can point to specific parts of the film that they found redeemable. I'm open to being convinced I'm wrong!
