Yo, 'The Untouchables' - Pacino's best performance EVER?

Okay, so I just re-watched 'The Untouchables' (1987) and, like, HOLY CRAP it still holds up! The whole vibe is just chef's kiss. But seriously, am I the only one who thinks Al Pacino's Capone in this is totally underrated? I know everyone always talks about his performance in 'Scarface' or 'The Godfather', but the sheer, almost casual evil he brings to Capone is chilling. That baseball bat scene?! Still gives me the creeps. And Sean Connery as Malone? Total badass. The whole ragtag team dynamic is amazing. I also keep coming back to the way they handled the tension. That iconic train station shootout is a total nail-biter, even knowing what's gonna happen. Plus, the costumes are super dapper. But here's what I'm wondering: do you guys think Costner's Ness is kinda... bland? Like, compared to Pacino and Connery, he just seems a little flat. Don't get me wrong, he's good, but I feel like anyone could have really played that role. So, yeah, what are your thoughts? Is Pacino's Capone the GOAT or am I just blinded by my love for 80s gangster flicks? Let me know!
