Anyone else low-key obsessed with 3 Men and a Baby?!
Okay, so I was flipping channels the other day and stumbled across "3 Men and a Baby" (the OG, obvi, not the lame remake!). And I forgot how much I actually LOVE this movie. Like, it's totally cheesy 80s goodness, but in the best way possible. I mean, three totally clueless dudes suddenly having to figure out diapers and feeding schedules? Gold! And those sweaters, lol. Anyone else remember wanting a crazy patterned sweater after seeing this back in the day? But seriously, what gets me every time is how attached Peter, Michael, and Jack (Ted Danson, Steve Guttenberg, and Tom Selleck, respectively) get to Mary. Like, at first they're all annoyed and overwhelmed, but then you see them genuinely bonding with her. Remember that scene where they're trying to figure out how to change her diaper for the first time? Hilarious! It's so awkward, but so sweet at the same time. I'm not a parent, so maybe I wouldn't get it, but did anyone else cry a little when Sylvie comes back for Mary? Lol My question is, do you guys think it holds up? I know times have changed, and some of the humor is probably pretty dated, but I still find it super charming. Also, did anyone else totally have a crush on Steve Guttenberg back then? Just me? Ok, cool lol. Seriously though, let's discuss! Is this movie still a guilty pleasure, or is it time to retire it to the 80s vault?
