Brave Little Toaster: Am I the ONLY one terrified?!

Okay, horror fans, hear me out. I know it sounds crazy, but I genuinely think The Brave Little Toaster (1987) is low-key terrifying. Like, on the surface it's a cute quest movie about appliances finding their kid, but underneath? NIGHTMARE FUEL. Think about the junkyard scene! That clown with the water spray face?! Seriously messed me up as a kid, and honestly, still does. And the vacuum cleaner getting torn apart for spare parts? That's straight out of a slasher flick. I get that it's supposed to be about loyalty and friendship, but the lengths these appliances go to, and the things they encounter, are genuinely disturbing. And the idea of appliances having feelings in the first place is just... unsettling, right? So, am I alone on this? Does anyone else see the hidden horror in The Brave Little Toaster, or am I just projecting my love of the genre onto an innocent childhood classic? Maybe I just have a really messed up definition of 'kids movie' lol. Let me know what you think!
