Alright, alright, alright... So I revisited Eddie Murphy Raw the other night. Still holdin' up, man. I mean, some bits def feel dated, right? Like, the whole Cosby sweater thing and the AIDS jokes... whew. But Eddie's energy? Untouchable. He's got that 'anything goes' vibe, that 'I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that' level of confidence that just sucks you in. He's giving it to you! I'm talking spitting, sweating, and owning the damn stage. I was cracking up at the Mr. T bit -- "I pity foo', I pity foo'" -- and the Stevie Wonder impression is chef's kiss.
