Halloween 4: Loomis... Did He Know All Along??
Okay, international film friends, Priya here! Just watched Halloween 4 again (guilty pleasure, I know), and I'm struck by something. Loomis. That man is way too calm, collected, and…prepared for Michael to just casually break out after ten years. Like, he's been itching for this, almost expecting it. I'm not saying he's happy about it, but there's a knowing glint in his eye that screams 'I told you so!' to the entire state of Illinois. My theory? Loomis secretly orchestrated it. Maybe not directly (paying someone off to sabotage the transport, etc.), but he might have known about security lapses, or even subtly encouraged negligence. Think about it: he's devoted his whole life to understanding Michael, to stopping him. And ten years of quiet? That's gotta feel like a death sentence to his purpose. He's practically begging the authorities to take Michael seriously from the first movie. And what about the scene where he blows up the hospital? Kinda extreme, right? He claims he wanted to kill Michael, but if Loomis believed Michael was pure evil – like, completely devoid of humanity – wouldn't a public execution be better? Put the guy down in a way all of America could see and know that Michael would never come back? The hospital blowing up just seems like he wanted to make sure Michael would come back to Haddonfield. It's like he needed Michael to return and prove his twisted point, so Loomis became the catalyst. Maybe my bollywood brain is just overthinking it, but it would be a brilliant twist. What do you all think?
