Crocodile Dundee II: Still Makes Me Tear Up (Don't Judge!)

Okay, so I just re-watched Crocodile Dundee II, and I know, I KNOW, it's not exactly high art or anything. But hear me out! Something about it just gets me right in the feels. The whole 'fish out of water' thing, but reversed, with Mick taking on New York gangsters in the Aussie Outback... it's just so endearing. Linda Kozlowski's character is also, like, the sweetest, and I love how much Mick clearly cares for her. Remember that scene where he's teaching her to track? It's just pure, wholesome goodness. And when he's protecting her from the bad guys? Ugh, my heart! I get that it's cheesy, but I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. Maybe it's the 80's nostalgia talking, I dunno. But seriously, does anyone else get weirdly emotional watching this movie? Or am I just a big softie? I'm curious what others feel (or don't feel lol). Do you think the sequel holds up to the original, feeling-wise? What's your take?
