Anyone Else Remember When Shaggy Became a Werewolf?!

Okay, so I was just talking to my kid about old Scooby-Doo movies, and it hit me – "Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf"! That thing was bonkers! Remember how Shaggy gets turned into a werewolf by Dracula (voiced by freaking Hamilton Camp!) and has to race other monsters? Total insanity, right? I feel like this movie doesn't get enough love. It's definitely not your typical 'unmask the villain' Scooby fare. I remember being so freaked out by some of the monster designs when I was a kid. That Witch sisters, or whatever their names were, gave me nightmares for weeks! And poor Shaggy, transformed into a legit werewolf against his will, forced to drive a monster truck... It's just such a weird concept, but I totally ate it up as a kid. I mean, yeah, the animation's a bit wonky at times, and it's definitely aimed at younger audiences, but it had a certain charm, y'know? And don't even get me started on Googie! She was Shaggy's girlfriend and she had an amazing design. I also feel like Scrappy-Doo was actually tolerable in this one... okay, maybe I'm pushing it. Has anyone else seen this recently? Does it hold up, or is it just pure nostalgia goggles talking? I always thought it was like a Hanna-Barbera version of "Cannonball Run"... but with monsters. Heh.
