Ok, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Actually Made Me CRY ðŸ˜
Okay, so I finally watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I know, I'm late to the party! Everyone has probs seen it a million times. But wow, seriously, it hit me harder than I expected. I went in expecting adventure and cool stunts, which it totally delivered on. But the father-son stuff? Chef's kiss. The scene where Indy finally calls his dad 'Dad' instead of Professor Jones? Gut punch! Like, I instantly thought about my own relationship with my dad and the things we don't always say. I was a MESS. And Sean Connery as Indy's dad? Genius casting! They played off each other so well. All that bickering and then the quiet moments of understanding? It felt so real. I actually laughed out loud when he was shooting down the German fighter plane with his umbrella! Completely ridiculous, and yet, somehow totally believable within the Indyverse. Also, I'm not gonna lie, River Phoenix as young Indy was giving me ALL the feels, and really made me invested in knowing about Indy's history. I think what really got me was the ending too. That whole challenge with the knights and choosing the correct grail... so tense! And then, when Indy tries to cross the chasm and his dad shouts, 'Indiana, let it go!' and he trusts him? Ugh, perfect! It's more than just adventure; it's about trust, family, and letting go of the things you think you need. That's what makes this one so special, I think. Anyway, yeah, I'm a sucker for a good cry. And this movie delivered. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for adventure with a side of heartwarming feels...just grab the tissues!
