Tango & Cash? More Like Explosions & Moustaches!

Okay, so I just finished watching 'Tango & Cash' (1989). I went in completely blind, just saw it pop up on some '80s action movie list. I gotta say, it was... a TRIP. Stallone and Russell HILARIOUSLY hate each other at the start, like those buddy cop movies where they're forced together? This felt amped up to eleven. And the moustaches. Good lord, the moustaches were majestic. That whole setup with them getting framed was pretty wild. Yves Perret, the bad guy, seemed cartoonishly evil, but in a fun way. The prison escape sequence was pure over-the-top '80s action – explosions, gunfire, random martial arts. Seriously, where did all those flamethrowers COME from? Was everyone just chillin' with a flamethrower in the late 80s? I wasn't expecting it, but I actually laughed out loud a few times. The whole dynamic between Tango and Cash, especially when they're bickering while trying to survive, kept me entertained. I will admit, the plot was kinda thin, and some of the acting was...let's say 'of its time'. But honestly, for a late-night, turn-your-brain-off action flick, it totally delivered. I kinda get why people like this one! Anyone else a fan? What are your favorite moments? I think mine was probably when Cash used his belt buckle. That whole scene was very...creative. Also, where does one get that much ammo...? Just sayin'!
