Child's Play 2: Was Chucky Always Getting Stronger?

Okay, so I've been rewatching Child's Play 2 (again...don't judge) and I've got this theory brewing about Chucky's powers, specifically how he seems WAY more potent than in the first movie. I mean, he's still got the whole 'battery life' ticking clock thing, but overall, he feels like a bigger threat. My theory? The toy factory resurrection actually enhanced him. Think about it: they basically rebuilt him from scratch, using (presumably) Good Guy doll parts that are newer and…I don't know…more receptive to his soul. Maybe the first time around, transferring his soul was a total hack job cause he was dying fast and using whatever voodoo he could remember to survive. But here? It's like they gave him a fresh, updated vessel. Plus, that whole process of melting him and reforming him might've inadvertently strengthened his connection to the doll, almost like a forced evolution of his soul-transfer magic. I know it's a stretch, but consider the scene where he's in the factory, surrounded by all those Good Guy dolls. He's like a conductor in an evil orchestra, sucking up their potential. And his rampage in that factory? Brutal. He’s way more confident and violent than he was in the first movie, even before his battery started to die. Also, that scene when he brutally murders that poor Mattson guy? That was intense! So yeah, I'm convinced the resurrection wasn't just about bringing Chucky back, but about unintentionally making him even more dangerous. What do you guys think? Am I reaching, or is there something to this? Also, quick sidenote: I will never forgive Miss Kettlewell for locking Andy in that basement. Ugh, she's truly the worst.
