Okay, I need to talk about Arachnophobia. 😭🕷️

Alright guys, I just rewatched Arachnophobia (1990) and I'm still a MESS. I know, I know, it's an old movie. But spiders are my biggest fear. Like, I can handle ghosts and zombies, but spiders? Nope. Absolutely not. So, going into it, I was already a bundle of nerves. And it DELIVERED. That scene where the spider crawls into the guy's slipper?! I practically jumped out of my skin! And John Goodman's character, Delbert McClintock, the exterminator? I was rooting for him so hard the entire time, even though he was kind of a goofball. He was the hero we needed! Honestly, what got to me the most, though, was how normal everything seemed at first. Like, this sleepy little town, everyone going about their business... and then BAM, spider apocalypse! It just felt so unsettling and realistic, in a weird way. I think the director (whoever they are, I'm too scared to Google it right now LOL) did such a good job of building the tension. It wasn't just jump scares; it was the constant threat of spiders lurking everywhere. You're constantly looking in every corner! Ugh, even thinking about it is giving me the heebie-jeebies. Okay, I'm gonna go light some candles and try to relax. Anyone else have a movie that just totally freaks them out, even though it's not necessarily "scary" in the traditional sense? Let me know so I can avoid it. lol. Seriously, though, if you're not afraid of spiders, this movie is probably a fun watch. If you ARE... proceed with extreme caution. ⚠️
