Maybe Dijon's constant screw-ups are actually part of Merlock's plan to create chaos, making it easier to snatch the lamp when the time is right. And okay, let's talk about Merlock himself. He's got that whole 'shape-shifting into monstrous creatures' thing going on. That's straight-up horror movie villain material! Plus, his obsessive desire for ultimate power?
