Problem Child: Still Funny After All These Years?

Ok, so last night me and the crew decided to revisit a classic (lol). We watched "Problem Child" – you know, the one with John Ritter and that little demon kid, Junior. I hadn't seen it since I was probably Junior's age, and I gotta say, it mostly holds up! Like, some of the jokes are definitely... dated, but the sheer chaos Junior unleashes is still hilarious. Remember the birthday party scene? The way he just terrorized those kids and set the clown on fire?! Savage. And the camping trip with the S&M biker dudes? Classic. John Ritter is amazing as the long-suffering dad, Ben. You just feel bad for the dude. Flo, his wife, though? Total social climber, I don't even know why Ben is with her. She's awful. My friend Sarah said she thought it was kind of mean-spirited, and I get that a little. It's definitely not PC by today's standards, but it's so over-the-top that it's hard to take seriously, you know? Also I've always been super confused why NONE of the adults figure out the kid is the problem... it's so blatant!. Overall, I'd say if you're looking for some dumb, nostalgic fun, "Problem Child" is worth a watch. Just don't expect high art or anything. But defintely expect a lot of laughter (and a little bit of cringing!). What did you guys think of it if you've seen it recently?
