Okay, so...World's Strongest - Underrated DBZ Flick?

Alright, so I've been on a bit of a DBZ movie binge lately, working my way through the filmography (director info is surprisingly hard to find for these early ones!). Just finished Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest and, honestly, I'm kinda surprised I don't hear more people talking about it. I know it's not Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan level iconic, but the horror elements were actually pretty cool, right? Dr. Wheelo is legit creepy, especially when he's all brain-in-a-jar. Plus, the animation felt surprisingly good for '90. One thing that’s always bugged me though: Piccolo gets jobbed hard in this one. Like, worse than usual. He gets taken out by those bio-men pretty quickly. Was that just to make Goku look better or was there a behind-the-scenes reason maybe? His fight with the bio-men was so unceremonious. It feels like a total waste of his potential. I get that Goku is the main man, but Piccolo’s usually given a little more to do. Also, anyone else think Dr. Wheelo's plan was... kinda dumb? He wants Goku's body because he's the "strongest," but he doesn't even analyze him beforehand? Doesn't seem very scientific if you ask me. Still, the fight choreography was solid, especially the bit where Goku is using the Kaio-ken. The whole movie had a different vibe. More serious, maybe? Maybe that's why I enjoyed it more than some of the other early ones. So, yeah, what do you guys think? Is World's Strongest unfairly overlooked, or am I just weird? And seriously, what was up with Piccolo's treatment in this movie? Is it just me or its there a real problem?
