T2 Still Holds Up AMAZINGLY Well!

Okay, so we just finished watching Terminator 2, and WOW. I know, I know, it's like, ancient history in movie years, but it was Liam's first time seeing it and I had to rewatch. I honestly think it's even better than I remembered? Like, the special effects still look pretty darn good, especially the T-1000. Seriously, Robert Patrick's running is still terrifying. We were cracking up because Liam kept saying he looked like a cop he knew, but then he'd do the liquid metal thing and we'd all scream. lol I think what really got me this time was Sarah Connor. Linda Hamilton killed it. That whole escape from the mental hospital scene was so intense. And the future war dream sequence? Chills. Literal chills. It's easy to forget how much of a badass she becomes. I also loved the whole 'no fate but what we make' theme. It's kinda cheesy, maybe, but it really resonates, you know? And Arnold learning about, like, feelings? So good! The thumbs up at the end got me right in the feels. Liam was all stoic, but I totally saw him wipe his eye LOL. Anyway, just had to share my thoughts! Did anyone else rewatch it recently? What'd you think? Maybe it’s just nostalgia goggles but, for me, T2 is still peak action sci-fi. Def one of my all time favorites.
