Belle's Wardrobe is Iconic, Let's Be Real

Okay, so I just rewatched Beauty and the Beast (the animated one, obvi) and I'm still obsessing over Belle's outfits. Like, I know everyone focuses on the yellow ballgown (and yeah, it is stunning), but her village dress is so cute! The blue, the little apron – totally cottagecore vibes before cottagecore was even a thing, right? I would 100% wear that today. It's that simple, practical, and still effortlessly chic thing that I love. And can we talk about the Beast's wardrobe too? He's literally a freakin' beast, but his velvet jackets with the gold embroidery? So regal! I read online that they based his look on different animals and historical people, which makes so much sense. It's like a visual representation of his internal struggle, the beastly side and the prince buried underneath. The costume designers really went all out in creating those looks! I also love how Belle's wardrobe evolves as she gets to know the Beast. She transitions from her practical village clothes to more elegant gowns as she slowly adapts to life in the castle and he learns to be a better prince. It's such a subtle but effective way of showing their relationship developing. It wasn't just about the story but visuals too! Does anyone else have a fav outfit from the film? I'm dying to know!
