Beauty and the Beast: What if Belle Already Knew About Magic?

Okay, so I was rewatching Beauty and the Beast (the animated one, obvs!), and something struck me. Belle is SO unfazed by the talking furniture and the Beast himself. Like, yeah, she's scared at first, but she adapts really quickly. My theory? Belle already knew about magic before she even got to the castle. Think about it! She lives in a provincial town, reading constantly. What if some of those books weren't just fairy tales, but actually contained real magical knowledge? Maybe she'd read about enchanted objects or beasts before, so seeing Lumiere and Cogsworth wasn't a total shock. Remember how she barters with her father to go into the dungeons? That's brave, sure, but it's also almost like she expected the Beast to be reasonable, like she knew something about how magic works and knew that love could break the curse. It would add a cool layer to her character, right? Instead of just being this sweet, bookish girl, she'd be someone actively seeking out knowledge, even magical knowledge. And it explains why she's so much more open-minded and accepting than everyone else in her village. Maybe it's her way of dealing with the small-mindedness of her town. I know it's just a theory, but it makes the movie even more enchanting for me. What do you guys think? Am I totally off base or could this hold water?
