Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves - Did anyone else CRY?? Legit sobbed!

Okay, so I just rewatched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and oh my GOD. I forgot how much this movie gets me! Seriously, from the opening scene with Robin and Azeem escaping that Jerusalem prison (that was INTENSE!), to when he FINALLY makes it back to England... finding his dad like that?! I was a MESS. Like, ugly crying into my popcorn mess. 😭 And don't even get me started on Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham!!! He's so deliciously evil, it's AMAZING. Every time he's on screen I'm both terrified and completely captivated. Maybe it's just me, but I think his performance is what truly makes the movie unforgettable. That scene where he's threatening Marian? Chills. Absolute chills. Seriously, I think he elevates the whole film from being just a fun action movie to something genuinely special. I'm not even kidding, you hate him so much. And that's good acting. But it's not just action and villains. The romance between Robin and Marian gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Especially when he's declaring his love for her. I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say? But did you guys ever wish there was more of Azeem's backstory?! I feel like Morgan Freeman was so compelling and brought so much depth to the movie, but he could have been done more. Like, he's a scientist! What was his scientific journey? I want to know more!
