Chucky Goes to Military School?! (My Thoughts on Child's Play 3)

Okay, so last night we finally watched Child's Play 3. I'd honestly been putting it off because, well, military school Chucky? It just sounded…weird. And yeah, it kinda IS. Like, Andy Barclay is a teenager now, which already felt like a jump, and he's stuck in this super strict military academy. Poor kid can't catch a break! I gotta say, though, there were still some genuinely creepy moments. The whole Chucky trying to transfer his soul into the little kid, Tyler, instead of Andy this time threw me for a loop. Like, the writers knew people were getting tired of the Andy thing. And that paint ball scene was intense! I was genuinely worried somebody was gonna get hurt. Plus, the ending with Chucky getting chopped up by the fan blades? Brutal! I literally said, "Oh my god!" Honestly, it's not my favorite of the series – the first two are still top tier for me. But Brad Dourif's voice acting is still amazing, and there are definetely some fun, messed up moments. It's worth a watch if you're a Chucky completist, but don't expect it to blow your mind. Anyone else kinda feel bad for Andy in this one? He's just trying to have a normal life(sort of)!
